Resume Writing Challenge Winner Announced

Seven professional resume writers came, saw and kicked some ass. Each one tackled my resume and applied their own career magic. But there can only be one winner.

Listen to the latest installment of the Working Podcast to find out who won the inaugural challenge.

Thanks so much for the well wishes! I also enjoyed seeing everyone's "take" on Andrew's skills and learning about the process that other professionals use with their clients. This contest certainly offered a unique opportunity in that regard.

As I told Andrew when we spoke, my business is more than just resume writing. Having a great resume is not enough to land a job in today's market. To give my clients a competitive advantage, I include a free coaching session with every resume transformation. When we work together, each client gets a terrific resume AND improves his or her networking, interviewing and job searching abilities.

I also author a career advice blog and am offering a free eBook to help job seekers and careerists optimize the holiday season's networking opportunities. Please follow the link on my name below to pick up your copy and to learn more about Keppie Careers.

I still think that Cliff's resume was the best of the lot. It was sharp, had great eye appeal and accomplished the objecive. It was the only entry that wasn't trite and boring.

Cliff should demand a rematch!

Thanks for all the support for my placing runner-up, Ralph et al!

I consider myself a winner afterall since Andrew confirmed on the podcast that he'll be using my resume in his job search. I write for my clients first and foremost so if I have his vote I know I've created a winning resume.

Check out my easy-view samples (by following my name-link below) to see if you agree!
