Well, you have idiots on the one hand. On the other are the bullies - especially at the management level of an organization - who can make your work life miserable enough to send your blood pressure into the stratosphere and cause you to lose sleep. It's enough to inspire many people to send out resumes and yearn for the day they can land new jobs and tell off the bullies.
