Make Money With DealDotCom

dealdotcom.jpgA spankin' new Web site is launching tomorrow: DealDotCom.  Normally, this blog is not a venue to plug non-career-related Web sites.  However, from what we're hearing, this site is going to be BIG - with the potential to make both of us some money.  And when you're a cube-dwelling slave, even vending machine change is better than nothing!

In short, DealDotCom sells a single product a day at a "ridiculously low" price.  The products will be related to building online business, increasing traffic, monetizing your Web sites, blogs, Web design, etc.

If you're involved in Internet Marketing in any way, shape, or form, these are the products that you're probably already buying... but our members get to snag them for much less than the little people buy them for.

Alright friends, what are you waiting for?  Sign up now!

Wow, dude, yikes. I was willing to give it a shot until I clicked through and saw that they're just a 100% ripoff of Woot.com, right down to the look and feel. I mean, fine, steal their business model, but at least put in the effort to create your own brand. That's just misleading your audience, is what that is. Bad karma there.

I'm gonna give them a fair shake. If I were to start abandoning copycat Websites, there wouldn't be too much left!

I will say, however, so far, I find their site a bit disappointing. But their Web traffic has catapulted to amazing heights in a ridiculous amount of time. We'll definitely keep our eyes open to see if they're the real deal.

Self fulfilling - their traffic went up because they are a glorified pyramid scam. Everybody wants in on the referral / affiliate action. They've only been up selling product for what, a day?

As I said in my first post, I don't fault them for stealing the business model, but I mean my god, they literally stole the content right off the pages, right down to the colors and the fonts. That's just plain lazy, it's like they're not even trying. Some evil genius is playing the old "Copy everything and just change every few words so they can't sue us" game.
